ABOUT THE Project
All India Talent is a full-stack platform connecting artists with recruiters in the entertainment and creative industry. Actors, models, dancers, singers, and photographers create profiles, upload portfolios, share reels and self-tapes, and apply for casting opportunities. Production houses, casting agencies, and brands post projects, search for talent, review portfolios, and manage applications — all in one place.
The Challenge
The entertainment industry runs on connections, but most talent discovery still happens through informal networks and fragmented tools. Artists had no professional platform to showcase their work at scale. Recruiters had no reliable way to search, verify, and shortlist talent efficiently. The platform needed to handle media-heavy workloads — video uploads, processing, and delivery — while also supporting real-time messaging, a social feed, and subscription billing across web and mobile.
Our Approach
We started by mapping the two sides of the marketplace separately — what an artist needs to get discovered, and what a recruiter needs to find the right fit. From there we designed the product around three pillars: rich profile and portfolio tools for artists, powerful search and application management for recruiters, and a social feed that keeps both sides engaged. Native mobile apps were built alongside the web platform, sharing the same API layer so every feature works consistently across all surfaces.
The Solution
A comprehensive talent marketplace — native Android and iOS apps, a React.js web platform, and a Node.js backend with MongoDB Atlas. Artists build rich profiles with photos, videos, reels, and self-tapes. A social feed enables organic talent discovery. Socket.io powers real-time direct messaging between artists and recruiters. Razorpay and in-app purchase handle subscription plans across web and mobile. Verification badges build trust on both sides of the platform.
